The center, located at the Clark Recreation Center, includes treadmills, stationary bicycles, cardio equipment and strength-training equipment. It is open to eligible Clark seniors Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The township’s 2026 resident guide notes that summer-camp operations change the hours in July and August to 12:30 to 4 p.m.; residents should confirm current hours with Clark Recreation before visiting.

Membership in the center is free, but it is limited to Clark residents who meet the age requirement. Before using the facility, prospective members must complete the Senior Fitness Center waiver/request application and provide documentation of medical clearance from a physician. Clark Township directs applicants to bring the completed forms and doctor’s note to the Mayor’s Office.

The program offers an accessible local option for seniors who want a place to walk, cycle, build strength or establish a consistent fitness routine. It also gives residents an opportunity to exercise in a setting tailored to the township’s senior community.

Application information is available through the Senior Citizens section of the Clark Township website. Residents with questions about eligibility, current hours or the application process may contact Clark Recreation at 732-428-8400.
