The four-day Columbus Day weekend celebration offered carnival rides, games, a 50/50 raffle, beer and wine, live nightly entertainment and plenty of food. Now in its 19th year, the feast brought families, friends and neighbors together to celebrate Italian-American heritage while supporting UNICO’s charitable work.
Beneath red-and-white tents and strings of Italian flags, visitors gathered to share a meal, catch up with friends and enjoy the festival atmosphere. From young children enjoying a treat to groups of teenagers and longtime supporters, the celebration drew together different generations of the community.
Although Sunday’s weather did not cooperate, Clark UNICO reported that the feast was a fundraising success. Proceeds will support charities, scholarships, community organizations and national UNICO charitable initiatives.
That purpose extended the celebration’s impact beyond the festival grounds. The weekend’s food, entertainment and fellowship helped generate support for causes that benefit others throughout the year.
For Clark UNICO, the annual feast combined a celebration of heritage with an opportunity to give back, turning a favorite fall gathering into meaningful support for the wider community.
